2019 sip, savor, and support is in the books! Sip, savor, and support is an annual event that raises tuition assistance funds for families at Bethlehem Lutheran School! Alumni, church members, and school families came out in droves to support this worthy cause by bidding on silent auction items and participating in the best dessert dash in the history of all dessert dashes! Together, we raised over $31,000 profit! We praise God for His many blessings and for everyone’s support and generosity!
Students in grades three-eight will begin Washington Comprehensive Assessment Program (WCAP) testing on Tuesday, April 9. You will find the testing schedule on our website calendar soon. The tests are administered to students in these same grades in public, and some private schools, throughout Washington. The purpose of the test is to evaluate progress in the areas of student achievement and also to generate data pertaining to curriculum and teaching methods. The various tests will occur April 9-May 3. Third through eighth graders will take math and English language arts. In addition, fifth and eighth graders will take science. We receive results of the testing in the late summer/early fall, and will send home letters sharing the results with parents at that time. We ask that all students have a good night’s rest and a good breakfast during this testing time. If you have any questions, please call the school office at 582.5624.
