Bethlehem Lutheran Scholarship Endowment Fund
(BLSEF)

Over the years, BLSEF has reached out to help pay tuition for Bethlehem students whose families are in need of financial assistance. Donations to BLSEF can be put in either of two accounts:

1. Fund A: Is the perpetual account. Only the interest income can be used from this source.

2. Fund B: Is our current account, which donated moneys plus any interest income can be spent on tuition aid.

ALL donations given to BLSEF go for financial aid or scholarship assistance.

Some interesting facts:

Since Sept. of 1987 through July 2004, a total of $315,000+ has been given for financial aid.
These funds have been given to 240 families.
A total of 334 children have been given the opportunity to receive a Christian education because of the commitment BLSEF and its supporters have made.
$12,000 over the last several years has been awarded as scholarships to 6 college students who have attended / are attending a Lutheran Missouri Synod college in order to go into church work.
