Chess Club is available to all students in K-8 plus interested parents, grandparents, etc. . 


L.E.S.T.
The Lutheran Elementary School Tournament (LEST) is an annual event hosted by Concordia College in Portland, OR.  Lutheran schools gather from all over the Northwest for fellowship and competition Thursday to Saturday on President's Day weekend.   Supervised competition is provided in art, math, music, basketball, chess, knowledge bowl, essay and spelling.  Many families and friends make it a very special long weekend that is looked forward to with much anticipation.

Athletics
Bethlehem Lutheran School offers students in grades 6-8th to participate in our year-round athletic program which includes:  soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball, and baseball.


Bethlehem is presently a member of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association and the Mid-Columbia Middle School Interscholastic Activities Association.

Special Programs
During the course of a school year there will be a variety of special programs that enhance the school experience.  Choir concerts, Christmas services, musicals, Indoor Olympics, science fairs, dessert theater, and Grandparent's Day are examples.  Our All-School Picnic, generally held near the last day of school and is filled with fun activities for the students.
