Philosophy and Objectives
Bethlehem Lutheran School, in a setting of educational quality, among a family of Christians, strives to:
  1. Touch lives of children by sharing the life and work of a caring Christ as seen from the Lutheran perspective.

Prepare children for leadership in the Church and society through a sound and challenging academic curriculum.

  1. Enable a child to recognize his / her self worth.
  2. Encourage students to internalize the values of self-discipline, brotherly love, personal morality and social justice.
  3. Nurture an individual’s natural desire to learn.

Objectives

Objective for children who attend Bethlehem will include:

  1. To know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
  2. To develop Christian attitudes, values and virtues.
  3. To develop a thorough knowledge of Christian doctrine.
  4. To relate the Scriptures and faith to contemporary life and to be a Christian witness.
  5. To develop academic, creative, physical and spiritual gifts to their fullest potential.
  6. To appreciate individual differences, to recognize others as gifts from God and to build up the body of believers.
