Spring break begins on Monday, April 3 and runs through Friday, April 7. School resumes on Monday, April 10. Enjoy your time off!
Attention, 4th through 8th graders who have been attending drama club! Please note that there is no club meeting on Monday, April 10.
Bethlehem Church’s vacation bible school is on June 19-22 this year! Staff from Camp Lutherhaven will lead, and the theme is Masterpiece! with the focus on Ephesians 2:10: “We are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.” Watch for more details to come!
The community care team at Bethlehem Lutheran Church will be helping to sort food at 2nd Harvest on Thursday, April 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. They are encouraging families to participate in this fun event. Children must be five years old or older. They will be sorting bread that night, so the products won’t be heavy. There are only 22 spots available. If you are interested in helping or if you have questions, please call Marilou DeWoody in the church office at (509) 582.5858.
Applications for tuition assistance for the 2017-2018 school year are due by Friday, March 31 in the school office. You can pick up an application in the office. Please remember that these are annual requests. If you filled one out in previous years, we will need a new one for the coming school year. If you have any questions, please give us a call at (509) 582.5624.
Lost and found items will be set out the week of March 27. Please be sure to stop by and check it out if you are missing anything!
Parent-teacher conferences for pre-kindergarten students are on Thursday, March 30 and Friday, March 31. Conference schedules are now ready. Please call or stop by the office to pick a time to come and visit with the teachers.
BLSEF’s annual fundraiser, Sip, Savor, and Support, is on Saturday, March 25 at 6:00 p.m. at the Columbia Center Boulevard Red Lion. Join us for dinner, wine tasting, silent and live auctions, dancing, and fun in support of financial aid for Bethlehem Lutheran School (BLS) families in need. You can purchase your tickets in the BLS office or at the S3 table between Sunday services at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Ticket prices are $55 each or $60 at the door.
