How to Enroll

As you apply for enrollment it is necessary that you understand that our ministry is defined by established policy concerning class size, enrollment priorities and staff ability to meet individual needs.  Listed below are several of these policies:

  1. Current class size limits are:  Kindergarten, 16 per session; Grades 1-3, 24 per class; Grades 4-8, 26 per class.
  2. Enrollment priority is:  1.  Bethlehem Church members, 2.  Siblings of students currently enrolled, 3.  Other LCMS Lutherans, 4.  All others by date of application.
  3. Washington State regulations regarding admission age (Kindergarten students must be five by Aug 31), immunization and attendance are followed by Bethlehem Lutheran School.
  4. Completion of an application form places you on a waiting list and does not guarantee immediate enrollment.
  5. A personal interview with the principal and/or prospective teacher is required before acceptance in the elementary grades.
  6. Upon acceptance for enrollment, a non-refundable registration fee is due.
